木料重生再利用

 曾於日據時代蓬勃發展的皮革產業設施，被提前擱置、銷毀，保留了五十年的建築，物換星移際，仍保持著幸運地下來。

近年來，台灣的建築以混凝土與鋼構為主，木結構與榫接技術已逐漸式微，W2接受委託，承接此木構建築拆除及保存的任務，不以破壞的方式打碎難得的工法痕跡，而是將保留每個結構元件作為首要目的，盡可能完整的分解樑柱系統，並一一整理分類。

台灣的建築主要以混凝土結合木結構為主，此木結構以榫接搭建，木頭不同於鋼鐵可熔解再製，因此保留每個結構元件成為首要目的，依照不同樑柱尺寸系統化分類，並一一整理。

此木造建築由卡榫連接成型，每根柱樑，有依循一定的方向與順序；為了保存其木料完整性，須經幾次來回場刊及模擬，與工匠討論建築建造的順候後再次倒置。

W2希望這些讓這些曾經屬於台灣被遺忘的美好及技術，再次重新定義及認識。
